Unicorn House
In their own words:- "Unicorn House is two things. Firstly it is a real building, in the real town of Wallasey. It even has its own postal address. We have the land registry certificate to prove it. Secondly it is a group of individuals and experiences, a chosen family. Circles of friends and acquaintances grow and change all over the world, to the point where it is difficult to feel attached to anything, and people may not want to. But sometimes everyone just needs to be somewhere where they fit in so naturally and pretence can be shed, like taking off your shoes. Welcome.This is not some kind of cult or commune, it's just people."
Unicorn House (as noted above) relates to a house, and therefore their major events over the years have been house parties, as opposed to pubcrawls. And there have been some pretty amazing parties held there. If you get the chance, ask Kris Barber what happened when he lit that big firework that he'd placed upside down (foom!).
They have a website (www.unicornhouse.me.uk) which was designed primarily to keep track of all the different people that have lived there over the years. Unfortunately their web-master is M@, who now lives in Wales & has been unable to keep the site updated.
