WFS
The Wallasey Funky Squad began as the name for a pub quiz team for a group of friends who drank lots in Stanley's Cask and who have a regular Pubcrawl of Liverpool that has been their tried and tested route since 1998 (see below).They begin their Pubcrawl at opening time, and finish at kicking-out. Unlike the Dipsomania Society they visit "bars" not just pubs, and will typically finish in a club. They do this on special occasions, such as members' birthdays.
The WFS also have a standard members T-Shirt, which consists of the intitials WFS in large letters, with the year of birth of the member in small print next to it.
They do not have a website, and maintain contact with one another through regular pub goings. "Echo Base" is the WFS headquarters, and is the venue of choice for lots of parties and after-hours drinking sessions.
