The Classic Route
Well this is a close approximation of the original Dipsomania Society Pubcrawl from January '97. Dom & Stu decided to begin by doing the Wallasey Village Mini-Crawl, as it was an obvious, geographical Pubcrawl. As Liscard contains the most pubs close together it was an obvious choice to go there next (via the Pool Inn only for those people who preferred to go to a pub rather than take the allowed "break for lunch" that has long since disappeared from our events).Once the Liscard pubs had all been frequented (The Vineyard was omitted on purpose, as we still believed its old "wine bar" status left it beyond the pale) a decision had to be made as to whether we would take a walk to either Stroud's Corner or Egremont. As the walk from the Queen's to the Saddle was shorter than the equivalent walk to the Nag's Head, it was decided that Egremont would be the next destination. And so it came to pass...
