Grammar Nazis
The Grammar Nazis provide unnecessary and unwelcome commentary in regard to other members' spelling, punctuation and grammar (SPAG) on the website.Where one posts a pertinent comment on a subject of interest to the Dipsomania Society they belittle it by focussing on SPAG instead of the content, thereby diluting the intellectual discourse on the site.
The Grammar Nazis are frequently instructed to desist from their activities but refuse for unknown reasons. We can only assume one of the following to be true:
a) The Grammar Nazis are retards who seriously have difficulty understanding posts typed with minor SPAG mistakes
b) The Grammar Nazis think that their SPAG commentary will make people think they're dead clever.
c) The Grammar Nazis suffer from a psychological deficiency whereby they cannot see that their continued unnecessary and unwelcome contributions are unnecessary and unwelcome and should stop now.
The group itself is not a coherent entity, with members attacking one another for perceived SPAG failures. In order to spot a Grammar Nazi, one can usually submit a post in the Hot Topic section of the site using poor spelling and/or grammar, sit back & wait for one of them to reply to the comment with a SPAG attack.
It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.
