HISTORY
HISTORYIt all began shortly after Painter & Shst left uni. They made a standing arrangement to meet in a pub on a Wednesday night, as a self-congratulation for making it over halfway through the working week. As time went on more Dipsos joined them until it became an official meeting where upcoming pubcrawls would be discussed & designed by anybody who chose to attend.
For a long time Stanley's was our home from home, but with its increased football coverage the place is generally too busy to accommodate us and our desire for quiet drinks.
While we still refer to them as weekly meetings, since this website went live back in 2004 we get most of our Dipso-related discussions done online. And this leaves us free to debate anything from "the impact of neo-paganism in specific regard to the globalization of Chinese goods" right down to "who would win a fight: Spiderman or Batman?".
As we're a drinking society we like to meet in a pub. We normally get to the nominated venue at or before 20:45, and enjoy a few relaxing pints.
