Skin discolouration is not anywhere near as funny as some people believe. The poor soul you see to the right was happily drinking at a BBQ party with his friends when this happened.
The correct term for this phenomenon is dermopigmentitis (literally "inflamation of skin colour").
We see that his jaw and cheeks have been blackened and the rest of the face has paled, apart from the tip of the nose & greater eye areas which have taken on some peculiar, and strangely symmetrical, colour of their own.
